DMGRGE was initially created as just a car page where I was only planning on posting car content. However, very quickly, I realised the importance of personal branding in content creation. A quote that has stuck with me is, "sell the barber, not the haircut". I didn't want to be just another car page which you see for ten seconds, and then you keep scrolling. I wanted to establish a creative platform where I can showcase the ideas in my head about the things I am truly passionate about and share that with a community of those have similar interests. Hence, DMGRGE is going to be a mix of lifestyle, cars, journals, films, fashion, and much more. This is going to be the medium where I can be me, and share my energy and passion to, and with, you guys.

This whole website began more so with my club, AALIM Motor Club. A while back I wanted to get on club rego, but the processes that people had were too complex and expensive. Hence, it was my goal to create a club that could truly benefit the people like me who just want to get on club permit and just enjoy their cars. You can read more on that in my journals. So, shortly after creating that page, I got my M3 and started posting a bit more regularly on the instagram page. But deep down, I wanted DMGRGE to be more than that, so I thought, why not restructure my whole motor club website and create an all in one platform under DMGRGE where I can still offer my club services, but also expand as a creative. So slowly over a couple months I put together the new look and rebranded my website from AALIM Motor Club to DMGRGE.

Ever since then, I have started writing up journals, which consist of some random brain dumps of my thoughts, some actual useful guides, gear reviews and more, as a way to get away from the curse of short form content and involve myself in something a bit more analogue and meaningful-ish. It has been an enjoyable way for me to create a digital identity and share my thoughts with the people on the internet. The goal is to be more consistent with these write ups as it is a place where I can get the words out of my head and onto paper (you know what I mean). My ultimate vision for DMGRGE is to become a creative medium to showcase cars, lifestyle, and more through an aesthetic, yet original lens. This can be done through a variety of methods including social media posts, journals and eventually films too.

This is just the start of DMGRGE, I hope you join me on my journey so we can grow this into something truly useful and valuable. At the end of the day I will always stay in the pursuit of cool cars, with even cooler stories.
